Dr. Shelburne graduated from the University of Virginia with a double major in Biology and Religious Studies in 1977. He went on to graduate with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Dental School and opened a private general practice in Pennington Gap, Virginia, in 1981. He and his family have served as short-term volunteer missionaries with the Baptist Medical Dental Missions International and on various Mission of Mercy projects in Virginia. In March 2008, he surrendered his dental license after being convicted of healthcare fraud, racketeering and money laundering and spent 19 months in Federal Prison and 2 months in a halfway house. Dr. Shelburne is a nationally known speaker/writer/consultant and an American Dental Association Subject Matter Expert, President of the Academy of Dental Management Consultants and Board Member of the Speaking Consulting Network who openly shares his mistakes, what he learned as a result, and how to avoid those career ending errors. “It is a wise man who learns from his mistakes, but a wiser man still that learns from another’s”. Dr. Meredith Newman has lived all over the country. She attended Duke University, where she was the Chair of the Honor Council. During her breaks, she was a surgical assistant for an oral surgeon, where she discovered an intense interest in dentistry. It combined two of her favorite things – taking care of people and biology. After her time in North Carolina, she attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, from which she graduated with honors. She spent a year in a general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh, which is where her love for root canals began! Dr. Newman went on to complete her Endodontics residency at the University of Pittsburgh. During her time there, she continued to treat patients and teach residents at the VA Hospital, as well as complete cutting-edge research, which she presented twice to the American Association of Endodontists. After her residency, she and her husband moved to Buffalo, New York, where she practiced for close to a decade before meeting her current partner, a Periodontist. Together they opened the first multi-specialty practice in the Central Valley of California, where her family is from. Dr. Dan Ward was an assistant clinical professor at The Ohio State University for 13 years and has been in private practice in Columbus, Ohio for 40 years. He lectured at the Post-Graduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Minnesota, SUNY Buffalo, UMKC, and the University of Florida and served as chief examiner. He is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists, Fellow of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics, Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, and an Associate Member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Dr. Ward has lectured extensively, has published over 50 articles, and is a reviewer for the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry and the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. Dr. Ward has developed a computerized method of smile design called the RED Proportion. An innovative pioneer, Dr. Ward combines theory with practical real-world experience.
Scott Coleman, DDS, MAGD
Dr. Scott Coleman’s institutional education and intensive continuing education have elevated him to the top of his field. He graduated cum laude from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1980 with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating first in his class at the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston in 1984. Dr. Coleman is a clinical associate professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and practices in the Houston area. He has lectured internationally on dental techniques and technology as well as written articles for numerous publications. When Dr. Coleman isn’t treating patients or serving on the Board of Regents of his alma mater, Stephen F. Austin State University. He is an Eagle Scout and has received the silver beaver award. He’s also a third-degree black belt in Hapkido and a first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He is a deacon at Second Baptist church.
Kelly Tanner, PhD, RDH
Kelly Tanner, PhD, RDH earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and her Master of Science in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University. She found a love specializing in management and administration within her Master's degree, and continued her doctoral education at Regent University in Virginia Beach University in Business & Organizational Leadership. Kelly’s Ph.D. focused on organizational metacognition, in-depth study of group dynamics, and how to elicit permanent organizational change. She is also a certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach and is also certified in the science of emotional intelligence (EI). Tanner has a published chapter in forensic odontology for dental professionals, and multiple publications in topics regarding telehealth for dental hygienists. Kelly has served as past president of the Virginia Dental Hygienists’ Association and also as Chair of the ADHA Council for Public Relations. She has been recognized for her outstanding leadership within health care and university settings and is a recipient of the ADHA and Johnson & Johnson Award for Excellence. Dr. Elaine Bylis graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland, College Park with a major in Neurophysiology. She was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society upon her graduation. Dr. Bylis went on to attend the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and graduated in 2017. Dr. Bylis received advanced training in cosmetic dentistry from the Nash Institute and was honored to later return to the Institute as a guest lecturer. She has also received advanced training in Invisalign. Dr. Bylis has been published twice in Dentistry Today. The June 2018 online edition featured an article she wrote about guided mandibular implant surgery and the December 2020 print edition featured her article about digital planning and surgery. Dr. Elaine Bylis was selected by Zyris Dental to host a five-part live video series that showcased women in the dental field. She was also inducted into the International Academy of Dental-Facial Esthetics. Dr. Bylis practices general dentistry in a private practice in Glen Burnie, Maryland with her father, Dr. Paul Bylis.
Sharon Parsons, DDS
Dr. Sharon Parsons graduated from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1981. She currently owns a group practice in Columbus, Ohio where she practices with two associates. She has been active in all levels of organized dentistry and is a Past President of the Ohio Dental Association. She is a member of many professional organizations including the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists, The Academy of Operative Dentistry, the International Team for Implantology and the Association of Women Dentists. She was the recipient of the Lucy Hobbs Humanitarian award and the Icons of Dentistry award and the ODA’s highest honor, the Joseph P. Crowley Distinguished Dentist award. Dr. Parsons raised two sons, Sean and Michael Herman. Her younger son, Dr. Michael Herman, practices with her. Her older son, Sean, died of an opioid overdose in 2015. Nathaniel Lawson, DMD, PhD
Dr. Nate Lawson is the Director of the Division of Biomaterials at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry and the program director of the Biomaterials residency program. He graduated from UAB School of Dentistry in 2011 and obtained his PhD in Biomedical Engineering in 2012. His research interests are the mechanical, optical, and biologic properties of dental materials and clinical evaluation of new dental materials. He has published over 200 peer reviewed articles, book chapters, and research abstracts. He was the 2016 recipient of the Stanford New Investigator Award and the 2017 Innovative Research Fellowship both from the American Dental Association. Dr. Lundon R. Albrecht is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and is known for his innovative mindset and continuous pursuit of advancements in dentistry, benefiting both patients and practitioners. As a key opinion leader for Coltene, a global dental manufacturer, he has delivered international lectures on cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Albrecht holds a fellowship in Implants from the International Dental Implant Association and is affiliated with various dental associations including the Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Oral Medicine, and Northeastern Ohio Dental Society. Stephen Beetstra, DDS, MHSA
Dr. Stephen Beetstra received his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1990. He then served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Public Health Service until 1999. While in service, he created needs-based programs for pediatric, Native American, migrant, and medically complex patients in Oregon, Florida, and North Carolina. For his efforts, Dr. Beetstra received an Outstanding Service Medal, the highest award granted by the Service, and was recognized by the National Health Service Corps as a Healthcare Hero. After service in the Public Health, he joined the faculty of the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine, Department of Surgery. As the first dentist ever hired by the medical school, he was the Chief, Division of Dental Services and soon expanded the dental footprint on the campus. During his seven years of service, he created a network of seven university affiliated dental clinics and recruited a faculty of eight to help address the unmet needs of rural, medically complex, and special needs patients. Practicing in an academic institution in a state without a dental school or graduate dental programs, he led the creation of the first graduate dental program in the state. He was the principal investigator in federal and state grant funding to begin the programs and led the successful accreditation of the first training program. Dr. Beetstra was recruited to Arkansas Children’s Hospital due to his experience in care for patients with complex medical and developmental disabilities in 2005. In 2011, he received a master’s in health services administration from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, School of Public Health. In 2012, he became the Chief of Dental Services and helped expand the program from eight faculty to fifteen. The program has expanded both hospital, outreach, and was instrumental in creating graduate dental training programs. In 2017, the Arkansas Children’s Dental Faculty was incorporated into the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. With that transition, Dr. Beetstra assumed the Chair of the Department of Pediatric and Special Needs Dentistry. In August 2020, Dr. Beetstra began working at the OSU Nisonger Center as its dental program director. In that role, he manages two clinics and is developing training programs to teach dental residents, students, and dental hygiene students to care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Korey Walsh is a registered dental hygienist and adjunct Instructor in the Dental Hygiene Program at Stark State College. She is the lead instructor in dental radiography and nutrition in dentistry, as well as a clinical instructor in fundamentals of dental hygiene and clinical dental hygiene. Korey has also taught dental sealants and coronal polishing for the Certified Dental Assistant at Stark State. She is a 2001 graduate of Stark State College where she earned her Dental Hygiene degree. In 2012, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Malone University and her EFDA license from Stark State College. She has worked in private practice since 2001 and began teaching at the college in 2013.

Dr. Homa Amini is Professor of Pediatric Dentistry-Clinical at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry and an attending dentist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She received her dental degree and a Master’s Degree in public health from the Ohio State University and a Master of Science and certificate in pediatric dentistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Kelly Tanner, PhD, RDH
Kelly Tanner, PhD, RDH earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and her Master of Science in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University. She found a love specializing in management and administration within her Master's degree, and continued her doctoral education at Regent University in Virginia Beach University in Business & Organizational Leadership. Kelly’s Ph.D. focused on organizational metacognition, in-depth study of group dynamics, and how to elicit permanent organizational change. She is also a certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach and is also certified in the science of emotional intelligence (EI). Tanner has a published chapter in forensic odontology for dental professionals, and multiple publications in topics regarding telehealth for dental hygienists. Dan Ward, DDS
Dr. Dan Ward was an assistant clinical professor at The Ohio State University for 13 years and has been in private practice in Columbus, Ohio for 40 years. He lectured at the Post-Graduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Minnesota, SUNY Buffalo, UMKC, and the University of Florida and served as chief examiner. He is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists, Fellow of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics, Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, and an Associate Member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Meredith Y. Newman, DMD
Dr. Meredith Newman has lived all over the country. She attended Duke University, where she was the Chair of the Honor Council. During her breaks, she was a surgical assistant for an oral surgeon, where she discovered an intense interest in dentistry. It combined two of her favorite things – taking care of people and biology. After her time in North Carolina, she attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, from which she graduated with honors. She spent a year in a general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh, which is where her love for root canals began! Dr. Newman went on to complete her Endodontics residency at the University of Pittsburgh. During her time there, she continued to treat patients and teach residents at the VA Hospital, as well as complete cutting-edge research, which she presented twice to the American Association of Endodontists. After her residency, she and her husband moved to Buffalo, New York, where she practiced for close to a decade before meeting her current partner, a Periodontist. Together they opened the first multi-specialty practice in the Central Valley of California, where her family is from. Advanced Perio Endo eXperts (APEX for short) is home to two Periodontists and two Endodontists.
Najia Usman, DDS
Dr. Najia Usman graduated from SUNY Buffalo in 1995 with her DDS. After completing a one-year general practice residency at the Cleveland Clinic she furthered her interest in endodontics by completing a two-year endodontic residency at Oregon Health and Sciences University, Portland, Oregon in 2002. She was awarded her Diplomate Status by the American Board of Endodontics in 2009. Dr. Usman has been in private practice since 2002. Though she practices full-scope endodontics, she has cultivated an interest in the endodontic management in trauma, pediatrics and resorptive lesions. She has organized and lectured in dental trauma symposiums. She has lectured and clinically taught dental students, endodontic and pediatric residents. Eric Richmond has served as director of legal and legislative services of the Ohio Dental Association since 2018. Stephen Beetstra, DDS, MHSA
Dr. Stephen Beetstra received his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1990. He then served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Public Health Service until 1999. While in service, he created needs-based programs for pediatric, Native American, migrant, and medically complex patients in Oregon, Florida, and North Carolina. For his efforts, Dr. Beetstra received an Outstanding Service Medal, the highest award granted by the Service, and was recognized by the National Health Service Corps as a Healthcare Hero. After service in the Public Health, he joined the faculty of the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine, Department of Surgery. As the first dentist ever hired by the medical school, he was the Chief, Division of Dental Services and soon expanded the dental footprint on the campus. During his seven years of service, he created a network of seven university affiliated dental clinics and recruited a faculty of eight to help address the unmet needs of rural, medically complex, and special needs patients. Practicing in an academic institution in a state without a dental school or graduate dental programs, he led the creation of the first graduate dental program in the state. He was the principal investigator in federal and state grant funding to begin the programs and led the successful accreditation of the first training program. Dr. Beetstra was recruited to Arkansas Children’s Hospital due to his experience in care for patients with complex medical and developmental disabilities in 2005. In 2011, he received a master’s in health services administration from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, School of Public Health. Matthew J. Messina, DDS
Dr. Matt Messina graduated first in his class from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1987. After graduation, he completed a general practice residency at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. A practicing general dentist for 30 years, he has also served as a visiting faculty member at the Pankey Institute for advanced dental education in Key Biscayne, Florida. Dr. Messina is the director of the Outpatient Care Clinic, Ohio State Upper Arlington Dentistry, an assistant professor in the OSU College of Dentistry Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry, director of practice management, and is the director of the dental oncology clinic of the James Cancer Center at OSU. Thomas M. Paumier, DDS
Dr. Tom Paumier is a cum laude graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry class of 1987 and completed a GPR at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio. He has been in private practice in Canton, Ohio since 1988. He is on the faculty of the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital GPR in Canton and is a Fellow in the International and American College of Dentists. He was a member of the ADA and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons expert panels who wrote the Clinical Practice Guidelines and Appropriate Use Criteria for Antibiotic Prophylaxis for Prosthetic Joint Patients. Dr. Timothy Kosinski is an affiliated adjunct clinical professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and serves on the editorial review board of Reality, the information source for esthetic dentistry, and is the past editor of the Michigan Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). He is currently the associate editor of the AGD journals and has served as editor of Implants Today, the implant publication of Dentistry Today. He is a past president of the Michigan Academy of General Dentistry and received his DDS from the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School and his Mastership in Biochemistry from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Kelly Tanner, PhD, RDH
Kelly Tanner, PhD, RDH earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and her Master of Science in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University. She found a love specializing in management and administration within her Master's degree, and continued her doctoral education at Regent University in Virginia Beach University in Business & Organizational Leadership. Kelly’s Ph.D. focused on organizational metacognition, in-depth study of group dynamics, and how to elicit permanent organizational change. She is also a certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach and is also certified in the science of emotional intelligence (EI). Tanner has a published chapter in forensic odontology for dental professionals, and multiple publications in topics regarding telehealth for dental hygienists. Dr. Najia Usman graduated from SUNY Buffalo in 1995 with her DDS. Dr. Ashleigh Briody is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dr. Nate Lawson is the Director of the Division of Biomaterials at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry and the program director of the Biomaterials residency program. He graduated from UAB School of Dentistry in 2011 and obtained his PhD in Biomedical Engineering in 2012. His research interests are the mechanical, optical, and biologic properties of dental materials and clinical evaluation of new dental materials. Dr. Homa Amini
Homa Amini is Professor of Pediatric Dentistry-Clinical at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry and an attending dentist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She received her dental degree and a Master’s Degree in public health from the Ohio State University and a Master of Science and certificate in pediatric dentistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a board certified pediatric dentist and a fellow of the AAPD. She is a past recipient of the AAPD’s Jerome B. Miller "For the Kids" and Lewis A. Kay “Excellence in Education” Awards. She has served on numerous councils including Pre-doctoral Education, Scientific Affairs and Editorial Board of the AAPD. Dr. Stephen M Beetstra
Dr. Stephen Beetstra received his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1990. He then served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Public Health Service until 1999. While in service, he created needs-based programs for pediatric, Native American, migrant, and medically complex patients in Oregon, Florida, and North Carolina. For his efforts, Dr. Beetstra received an Outstanding Service Medal, the highest award granted by the Service and was recognized by the National Health Service Corps as a Healthcare Hero. After service in the Public Health, he joined the faculty of the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine, Department of Surgery. As the first dentist ever hired by the medical school, he was the Chief, Division of Dental Services and soon expanded the dental footprint on the campus. During his seven years of service, he created a network of seven university affiliated dental clinics and recruited a faculty of eight to help address the unmet needs of rural, medically complex, and special needs patients. Practicing in an academic institution in a state without a dental school or graduate dental programs, he led the creation of the first graduate dental program in the state. He was the principal investigator in federal and state grant funding to begin the programs and led the successful accreditation of the first training program. Dr. Beetstra was recruited to Arkansas Children’s Hospital due to his experience in care for patients with complex medical and developmental disabilities in 2005. In 2011, he received a Master’s in Health Services Administration from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, School of Public Health. In 2012, he became the Chief of Dental Services and helped expand the program from eight faculty to fifteen. The program has expanded both hospital, outreach, and was instrumental in creating graduate dental training programs. In 2017, the Arkansas Children’s Dental Faculty were incorporated into the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. With that transition, Dr. Beetstra assumed the Chair of the Department of Pediatric and Special Needs Dentistry. In August 2020, Dr. Beetstra began working at the OSU Nisonger Center as its dental program director. In that role, he manages two clinics and is developing training programs to teach dental residents, students, and dental hygiene students to care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

As the daughter of a dentist, Judy Bendit was born and raised in a dental office. She has over 45 years of experience in dentistry as a clinician, author and speaker. She serves on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she is active with the alumni board. She also serves on the advisory board for the dental hygiene program at Palm Beach State College. Judy is a member of the CAMBRA coalition, American Academy of Cariology, and American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Oral Health. Dr. Dan Coleman is a graduate of the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine, Post-doctoral Master of Science, specialty training and Board Certification in Periodontics. During his residency, Dr. Coleman was privileged to serve as Chief Resident. Dr. Coleman is a faculty member at the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine where he serves as a clinical instructor and lecturer in the Department of Periodontology. Dr. Lori A Fitzgerald
Dr. Lori Fitzgerald is a general dentist in practice in Canfield. She is currently President of the Ohio Dental Association, and is a past president of the Corydon Palmer Dental Society, and past chair of the ODA’s Annual Session Committee and Council on Membership Services. She is a fellow of the International College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy, and a member of the American Association of Women Dentists. Dr. Fitzgerald received her DDS degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Anita Gohel
Dr. Anita Gohel is a clinical professor and chair of the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Diagnostic Sciences. She is also the program director of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. She is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology. Dr. Gohel received her BDS from Calcutta University in India, a PhD in Oral Biology and a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology from the University of Connecticut. She has given many presentations and continuing education courses at national and international meetings and has authored several articles and abstracts in national and international journals. She has served in numerous leadership roles in several dental organizations. She has served as a director and president of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology, as a commissioner for the ADA National Commission on Recognition of Dental Specialties and Certifying Boards and a member of the CODA Review Committee on Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Education. She is currently the immediate past-president of the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology (AAOMR).

Dr. Jim Grisdale
Dr. Grisdale is a board-certified specialist in periodontics and Prosthodontics with a part-time private practice in Vancouver, British Columbia. Dr. Grisdale received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from McGill University, as well as a post graduate degree in Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. He then went on to the University of British Columbia where he received another postgraduate degree in Periodontics. Dr. Grisdale was formerly a full-time faculty member in the graduate periodontal residency program at Loma Linda School of Dentistry, Loma Linda, CA and is currently an invited lecturer. Dr. Grisdale lectures extensively in the United States, Canada, and has lectured in Southeast Asia and Europe. He is a mentor for Periodontic and Implant Study Clubs. Dr. Grisdale has published in the area of treatment for dentin sensitivity, implants, bone regeneration and soft tissue periodontal adhesives. He is an active participant in clinical research and the study of contemporary periodontal products. He is a member of several professional societies.

Dr. Kyle R Jackson
Born in Oregon, Ohio, Dr. Kyle Jackson grew up along the shores of Lake Erie. He completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Toledo. Continuing his education, Dr. Jackson was accepted to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He received his Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry after a two-year residency at Children’s Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Jackson began practicing at the Children’s Medical Center in Dayton in the early ’90s where he held the position of Director of Dental Services. He is member of several dental organizations including the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and the Dayton Dental Society. Over the years, he served the dental community in a variety of ways including the Cleft Lip & Palate/Craniofacial Anomalies team at Dayton Childrens, the Council on Access to Care and Public Service and Annual Session Committee through the ODA, and the Dayton Dental Society where he has served on the Long-Range Planning Committee, the Public Affairs committee and on the board. Dr. Jackson is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist. On top of the many dental organizations, Dr. Jackson has also been involved in Christian youth ministry for 30 years. This passion has given him invaluable experience working with children through his service in the church. In 2006, Dr. Jackson received his ordination as a minister, going on to complete his Master of Theology from Asbury Theological Seminary. He currently serves as Pastor of Compassionate Ministry at his local church where he is also on the Youth Leadership Team, finding time to actively participate in leadership roles in both regional and district positions.

Dr. Bernice Ko
Dr. Ko received her DDS and her postgraduate training in Hospital Dentistry and Endodontics at UCLA. Dr. Ko is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and is the Assistant Director of the UCLA AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry). She was a Clinical Educator with the Section of Endodontics, Special Patient Care and Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UCLA. Dr. Ko is the former Director of the UCLA Postdoctoral Endodontics Program and was the Course Director of the UCLA Endodontic Continuum Lecture and Hands-on Workshop. Dr. Ko is a former President of the Southern California Academy of Endodontics and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, UCLA Chapter. She maintained an Endodontic-Periodontic private practice in West Los Angeles, California for decades with Dr. Thien Nguyen, Dr. Todd Yamada and Dr. Daraporn Tanpattana.

Mr. Shawn Lang
Shawn Lang is the Senior Service Technician for the Patterson Dental Mid-South Ohio branch. With 35 plus years of experience, Shawn has been servicing dental equipment since 1984 as he entered in this career to follow in his father’s footsteps. In the field Shawn is responsible for repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and x-ray QA’s. However, performing preventative maintenance is key to keeping an office’s equipment running like new. With his expertise, Shawn is able to determine if the equipment is worth servicing or if replacing is the most economical option. Shawn’s professional philosophy is to be a reliable and trusted partner with every office that he gets the chance to service. It is also very important to him to build a great relationship with not only the doctor, but the entire staff.
